Adidas has reworked a 1970s mid-top basketball silhouette into the Superskate, now offered in a distinctive honey-mustard finish called “Preloved Brown / Rustic Orange.”
The Superskate keeps a retro profile but adds practical reinforcements for skating. Updates include a thicker, more supportive heel and a strengthened ollie zone — the area of the upper that bears repeated contact with the board during tricks.
Built for durability and performance, the model translates classic court styling into a skate-capable shoe designed for regular park and street use.
The Superskate is priced at $100 on the adidas website and is also available in black and white. The honey-mustard colorway is the most eye-catching of the group.
Adidas is better known for football boots and the Superstar line, but the brand has steadily expanded its skate offerings. Recent examples include the caramel-toned Puig model made for Lucas Puig and a Samba variant featuring a flip tongue that nods to designer Wales Bonner.
