ALMACO Secures Major EPC Contract for Polar Max Icebreaker
ALMACO’s Canadian arm has won an Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) contract worth more than CAD 100 million from Chantier Davie Canada Inc. Working in parallel on both continents shortens delivery timelines by allowing hull construction and superstructure fabrication to proceed simultaneously. After completion in Finland, the hull will be transported to Davie’s Lévis, Québec facility for final assembly, following an approach successfully used on CSS Asterix.
