Grant Details and Purpose
Dr. Connie Lamb, director of Nursing at Asbury University, has received a $2,500 research grant from the Kentucky Nurse Foundation to support her study, “Measuring Psychological Workload Among Academic Nurse Educators: An Explanatory Sequential Mixed-Methods Study.” The funds will be used to compensate nurse educator participants who take part in the study’s interview phase.
Significance of the Study
Lamb emphasized the central role of nurse educators in sustaining the nursing workforce pipeline. She said the project aims to elevate educators’ perspectives on workload, providing data that can inform policies and practices to improve well-being, resilience, and retention among faculty.
