MPA Assigns R Rating to 'Beast of War'

The MPA has assigned an R rating to Beast of War, director Kiah Roache-Turner’s World War II shark thriller, citing “bloody violent content, gore and language.” The film will debut at Fantastic Fest in Austin this September.

Plot Inspiration and Synopsis

Loosely inspired by real incidents, Beast of War follows a group of Australian soldiers whose transport across the Timor Sea is attacked by Japanese fighter planes. As the ship is torn apart, survivors fashion a makeshift raft from debris, only to find themselves stalked beneath the surface by a great white drawn to the scent of blood.

Release Details

Well Go USA has scheduled the film for a theatrical and VOD release on October 10.
