Kittens in Timespace used the PC Gaming Show Tokyo to introduce Clawpunk, a fast-paced brawler set in the anarchic streets of Feral City. Players will select from nine distinct cat protagonists as they fight through destructible urban stages.
The game borrows heavily from 1990s cartoons and classic arcade shooters, pairing retro-inspired visuals with a soundtrack that blends hard metal and synth influences to set an aggressive tone.
Each playable cat comes with unique weapons, abilities, and devastating attacks. Players are encouraged to experiment with different team compositions and combos to overcome the city’s challenges.
Collectible cards offer permanent mutations and upgrades, enabling characters to evolve between runs. Nearly every element of the environment can be torn apart, reinforcing the game’s emphasis on chaotic, front‑foot action.
Actor Greg Sestero — known for his part in the cult film The Room — lends his voice to one of the feline fighters.
Clawpunk launches on November 14 for PC, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox Series X|S.
