Colorado Rapids Sign Midfielder Paxten Aaronson
The Colorado Rapids announced Thursday they have signed U.S. Men’s National Team midfielder Paxten Aaronson from German side Eintracht Frankfurt on a five-year contract running through 2030.
Record Transfer and Career Highlights
The deal marks a club-record transfer for Colorado. Aaronson, 21, is a native of Medford, New Jersey, and arrives after spending the 2024–25 season on loan at FC Utrecht in the Netherlands’ Eredivisie, where he tallied nine goals and six assists in 37 league matches.
International Achievements
On the international stage, Aaronson was part of the U.S. team that won the 2023–24 CONCACAF Nations League, reached the 2025 CONCACAF Gold Cup final and represented the United States at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.
