Miami Dolphins Show Emphatic Response on Thursday
After a sluggish start to Wednesday’s session that quarterback Tua Tagovailoa said “needed a jumpstart,” Miami responded emphatically on Thursday.
Focus on Process Over Results
Head coach Mike McDaniel had emphasized the purpose of joint practices and urged the team to focus on process over immediate results. He framed the work as valuable August preparation that will matter when the regular season arrives.
Thursday’s Practice Highlights
The Dolphins opened Thursday by attacking in seven-on-seven work. Tagovailoa connected with Jaylen Waddle for two touchdowns and also hit Erik Ezukanma, Malik Washington and Dee Eskridge on additional scoring plays.
Washington and Eskridge both reached the end zone again during the final team period. The session’s highlight came when Eskridge hauled in a contested catch in the back of the end zone following a 30-yard setup, triggering an on-field celebration as teammates sprinted off the sideline.
