Easton Pastor Returns Home After Detainment
Easton — Daniel Fuentes Espinal, an Easton pastor who was arrested by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement last month, returned home Friday after nearly a month in custody.
First Public Statement Since Detainment
Fuentes Espinal spoke to the public for the first time since his detainment, addressing reporters and community members about his release.
Reunion with Family
He was accompanied by his daughter, Clarissa Fuentes Diaz, as he reunited with family. Speaking shortly after arriving, Fuentes Espinal said he was “very happy to be home.”

The pastor’s appearance marks the end of a period of uncertainty for his family and congregation following his arrest by ICE last month.
