Arrest Following Brooklyn Center Shooting
Four men were taken into custody Monday afternoon after gunfire erupted at a residence in Brooklyn Center, authorities said.
Initial Response and Police Dispatch
Police were dispatched to the 5800 block of Drew Avenue North at about 1:52 p.m. following reports of shots being fired.
Multiple Agencies Respond
Brooklyn Center officers initially held several people at the scene and requested mutual aid from nearby departments in Brooklyn Park, Robbinsdale, New Hope, and Crystal. The Hennepin County Sheriff’s Office also provided support.
Investigation Details
Investigators determined at least seven rounds were discharged in the area. No injuries were reported.
Arrests and Evidence Recovery
The four men were transported to the Hennepin County Jail. Officers recovered multiple firearms during the response.
