British comedy writer Graham Linehan was arrested at Heathrow Airport after returning from the United States in connection with three tweets he posted that criticised aspects of gender ideology.

He recounted earlier problems on the trip, writing that an airline gate agent in Arizona told him he had no seat on the flight. Linehan interpreted that exchange as a sign he had been flagged ahead of arrival.
At Heathrow, he says officers seized his belongings and placed him in a small cell before interviewing him. He told reporters the police questioned him about each tweet with an intensity he found disproportionate to the remarks.
