Celebration of Randy Travis at the ACM Honors
Country icon Randy Travis was celebrated Wednesday night at the ACM Honors ceremony held at The Pinnacle in Nashville. He received the 2025 ACM Milestone Award, a recognition named for longtime ACM Awards director and producer Gene Weed.
About the ACM Milestone Award
The Academy of Country Music said the Milestone Award recognizes "unprecedented or outstanding achievement in the field of Country Music during the preceding calendar year." Travis was selected for the honor after a year that brought renewed attention to his work.
Travis's Recent Musical Achievement
In May 2024, roughly a decade after a devastating stroke, Travis released Where That Came From. The project used AI to recreate his pre-stroke singing voice, making him the first country artist to employ that technology to produce new music.
