Week Four Focus: Routines and Hands-On Activities
Week four of the school year centers on routines, establishing learning centers, and engaging, hands-on activities across social studies, science, math, and phonics. These classroom ideas represent practices I’ve used in kindergarten over multiple years and are designed to build strong foundations while keeping students excited to learn.
Personal Update and Resources
A quick personal note: this year I’m a stay-at-home dad, which lets me spend extra time with our daughter and prepare for our second child, due December 21.
