Overview of Jeffrey Epstein's Death and Its Aftermath
Jeffrey Epstein was discovered dead in his cell on August 10, 2019, in what officials ruled a suicide. Despite that ruling, the deaths of 22 people linked to his network have fueled lingering questions and conspiracy theories, RadarOnline.com reports.
Individuals Connected to Epstein Who Have Died
Those who died include alleged victims, attorneys, investigative reporters, intermediaries, and others who crossed paths with Epstein, prompting investigators and commentators to point to a complex web of financial and personal ties.
"Many people were ensnared in Epstein’s network, and now a number of them are dead," private investigator Ed Opperman said. "There are connections that follow the money."
Allegations and Claims
Financier Steven Hoffenberg alleged that Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell recorded compromising encounters with underage girls to blackmail influential figures. Hoffenberg, who died in 2022, had served 18 years for a $475 million Ponzi scheme and cooperated with the FBI while claiming links between Epstein and Israel’s intelligence services.
