20th Century Studios has released the official trailer and poster for Psycho Killer, a tense road‑movie thriller from the team behind Barbarian and Weapons. Gavin Polone directs this unsettling cross‑country chase, which promises a relentless, suspenseful ride.
The Motion Picture Association has rated the film R for strong bloody violence, explicit sexual content, graphic nudity, drug use, and language. Psycho Killer is set to arrive in theaters on February 20, 2026.
The story follows a Kansas highway patrol officer, played by Georgina Campbell (Barbarian), who embarks on a mission to find the person who brutally murdered her husband. As her investigation deepens, she discovers the suspect—portrayed by James Preston Rogers—is a sadistic serial killer whose twisted motives are far darker than anyone anticipated.
The cast also includes Grace Dove, Logan Miller, and Malcolm McDowell. The screenplay was written by Andrew Kevin Walker, known for Se7en, 8mm, and Sleepy Hollow.
