O’Donnell, who relocated to Ireland in January after Trump’s election victory, told 60 Minutes Australia she is consulting lawyers about when it would be safe to return to the United States to visit her older children.
Trump renewed his public threats last Wednesday on Truth Social, saying he was “giving serious thought to taking away Rosie O’Donnell’s Citizenship,” calling her “not a Great American.”

The Daily Beast has asked the White House for comment.
O’Donnell has four adult children, now in their twenties and thirties, and a 12-year-old autistic daughter, Clay, who moved to Ireland with her. She said she has not returned to the U.S. since January and is relying on U.S.-based advisers to determine when travel would be safe for her family.
