Saunders, Campbell and Huntington-Whiteley Lead Burberry’s 2025 Holiday Film

Burberry’s 2025 holiday campaign arrives as a short film titled “’Twas The Knight Before…,” directed by John Madden. The story unfolds in a London townhouse where Jennifer Saunders prepares to host a festive gathering.

The guest list mixes fashion, film and sport: Naomi Campbell, Ncuti Gatwa, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and footballer Son Heung-min join Saunders, each arriving with wrapped presents. The film moves from canapé conversations to a surprise doorstep caroling, capturing a warm, convivial atmosphere.

Chief Creative Officer Daniel Lee describes the film as “a party invitation for family and friends” that also suggests seasonal gift ideas. The cast models key pieces from the new collection throughout the scenes.

Heritage outerwear is reimagined this season with contemporary cuts and detailing. Saunders wears the Heath quilted cape in walrus brown and hemlock beige, trimmed with corduroy and a detachable shearling edge.

Campbell appears in the Trerose trench, cut in water-resistant tundra beige and finished with a bow-accented collar. Gatwa is seen in a marsh-green trench featuring leather-wrapped B buckles and a Burberry Check lining.

Huntington-Whiteley wears the

short Fitzrovia trench, made in Castleford, Yorkshire, updated with a fuller skirt and domed metal buttons engraved with the Burberry crest and unicorns. Son Heung-min presents two looks: the Harrogate duffle coat in scout green—woven with blanket-inspired stripes and secured by buffalo-horn toggles—and a garment-dyed cotton Harrington jacket featuring a knitted Equestrian Knight.

Beyond outerwear, the holiday assortment includes bags such as the Bloomsbury tote and Highlands backpack, plus cashmere scarves, soft accessories and childrenswear knits, shirts and dresses. Fragrance offerings feature Burberry Goddess and Burberry Hero.

Burberry is also offering complimentary personalization on select check scarves and cashmere sweaters. Customers can add up to five initials or choose new icons, with fresh thread color options available.

Two major seasonal partnerships extend the campaign offline. In London, Daniel Lee has collaborated with Claridge’s to design the hotel’s 2025 Christmas Tree, drawing on fabrics and hardware from Burberry’s archive. The tie-up includes a limited-edition bauble featuring Claridge’s Bell Boy Teddy Bear in Burberry Check, a ground-floor retail pop-up with a Scarf Bar, and doormen wearing Burberry scarves.

In New York, Bloomingdale’s 59th Street will host a Burberry pop-up inspired by a cosy cottage and offer curated gifts, exclusive pieces and teddy bears dressed in Burberry Check. For the store’s annual lighting ceremony, the façade will be wrapped in an oversized Burberry Check scarf.
