Announcement of New Album and Single
Sigrid has announced her third studio album, There’s Always More That I Could Say, due 24 October via Island Records/EMI, and shared a new single, “Fort Knox.”
Album Inspiration and Creative Process
The record was written in Bergen alongside long-time collaborators and captures a renewed sense of creative freedom. After stepping back from “content culture” in 2024, Sigrid spent time traveling alone through remote areas of Norway and reconnected with audiences at festivals in South America, which helped reignite her songwriting instinct.
About the Single “Fort Knox”
“Fort Knox” channels heartbreak and anger into a euphoric pop surge. Anchored by a pulsing synth bass and largely recorded as a handheld vocal take, the song uses the image of the U.S. military vault as emotional armour: “This time, I’m gonna lock my love in a box / And safeguard it like it’s Fort Knox.”
Single Following “Jellyfish”
The single follows “Jellyfish,” a lighter, more carefree track Sigrid described as “easy, like a Scandinavian summer.” Both songs hint at the album’s range, which moves between infatuation, hear...
