Jeff Jarrett Reveals Private Concert by Taylor Swift
WWE Hall of Famer Jeff Jarrett told TMZ Sports that Taylor Swift once performed a private, roughly three-hour concert at his home for his wife while she was battling cancer.
Details of the Visit
Jarrett said the visit occurred around Christmas 2006 after Swift had moved to Hendersonville, Tennessee. He added that his wife died about five months after that private performance.
Swift's Arrival and Performance
According to Jarrett, Swift came by following the diagnosis. She initially arrived without her guitar but returned to fetch it when his daughters expressed a wish for her to sing.
The Impromptu Concert
Around 45 people were present for the impromptu show, which Jarrett described as an extraordinary afternoon. He said Swift played for about three hours by the time she finished.
Her Connection with the Family
Jarrett noted he has known Swift since she was a child and that she once babysat his daughters. He said her ongoing connection with the family has meant a great deal to them.
