Thomas F. Wilson, the actor best known as Biff Tannen in the Back to the Future trilogy, looks markedly different today after shifting his focus away from acting and into the art world.
Recent Appearance in Los Angeles
Now 66, Wilson was photographed in Los Angeles in August leaving lunch with a friend. His broad build is familiar, but his hair has turned a bushy white and he sported a casual blue T‑shirt, shorts and green-and-blue sneakers.
His Role in Back to the Future
Wilson made his name as the menacing Biff, appearing in all three Back to the Future films as the 1955 bully and the 1985 version who bosses around George McFly. He also played Biff’s descendants — Griff Tannen in Part II and Buford “Mad Dog” Tannen in Part III — and later voiced the character for the animated series and the Universal Studios ride.
