Calvert County Grand Jury Indicts Three Men in Shooting Incident
A Calvert County grand jury returned three indictments Monday linked to a shooting that occurred in the early hours of July 4 outside Neptune’s Seafood Pub in North Beach.
Details of the Incident
According to the Calvert County Sheriff’s Office, a dispute among people gathered just after the bar closed escalated to gunfire. No one was reported hurt. Investigators say two men fled the scene in a black Dodge Charger with Florida license plates.
Indicted Individuals
Court filings by Detective Christopher Murphy identify the two who left in the Charger as Rayquan Malik Jackson, 27, of Falls Church, Va., and Devon Patrick Hunter, 24, described in documents as from North Beach and elsewhere as a Friendship resident. The third man indicted is 20-year-old Jeremiah Jermaine Nick of Shady Side. A Circuit Court judge has issued an arrest warrant for Nick following the grand jury action.
