Tracker Season 3: Cast Changes and New Direction
Tracker’s third season, which debuts October 19, 2025 on CBS, arrives with two notable departures: Eric Graise and Abby McEnany will not return as series regulars. That leaves Justin Hartley and Fiona Rene as the only remaining original main cast members. While some viewers are disappointed, the exits may clear the way for a leaner, more focused show.
Previous Cast Dynamics and Season 2 Insights
Critics and viewers previously flagged uneven chemistry within Tracker’s original ensemble. Graise’s Bobby and McEnany’s Velma were often written as serviceable but underused figures—frequently supplying exposition over the phone rather than sharing scenes that deepen relationships with Colter Shaw, Hartley’s loner protagonist.
Season 2 underscored these weaknesses. The episode “The Mercy Seat” forced a secondary subplot that did little to advance Colter’s arc. Graise missed six episodes that season, and McEnany’s role was scaled back after Teddi (Robin Weigert) exited in season 1. Those gaps exposed narrative imbalances and made it harder to justify keeping a broad ensemble.
