Winslow will observe a September 11 Remembrance and Reflection at 6 p.m. MST on Sept. 11. The gathering will take place in the 9-11 Remembrance and Reflection Garden at 2100 E. Third St., between Transcon Lane and Cassandra Drive.
Attendees can expect personal reflections, musical selections and shared memories as part of the program. Organizers suggest arriving early and bringing a chair and water for comfort.
Silhouette flags will be installed on Sept. 10 and left in place through Sept. 14. Each flag symbolizes one of the 2,977 men, women and children who lost their lives on Sept. 11, 2001.
