POST FALLS, Idaho — Idaho State Police responded early this morning to a two-vehicle crash on Interstate 90 that left a semi-truck ablaze and prompted lane closures.
Details of the Accident
Authorities say a 62-year-old man from Spokane Valley was driving an SUV east in the westbound lanes when it collided with a car-hauling semi driven by a 55-year-old Pennsylvania man.
Collision Location and Cause
The collision occurred on the Spokane Street overpass. The semi driver attempted to avoid the SUV, but the SUV sideswiped the truck, rupturing a fuel tank and releasing diesel onto the roadway.
